Another great night of running around the city. And another record for the course set this time by Pierre Murchan, Dublin City Harriers, in 14.03. First female finisher was Fiona McKenna in the UCD colours (16.46).
Runners came from far and wide with between 70 and 80 clubs taking part including one from City of Norwich.
KCH as host club had many taking part with first seniors home being James Ledingham in 15.14 and Annie McEvoy in 18.37. Our Junior men were well represented with Billy Coogan 2nd junior and 9th overall (14.59), Ruairi McEvoy was home in 15.51 and young Robert Coogan finished in 17.12. Junior Ladies were Isabella Burke 19.13 and Evelyn McEvoy 23.14.
In the veteran categories Jamie Gahan was 2nd O/40 (15.09; Mike O’Shaughnessy 2nd O/55 (19.39). The ladies were even more impressive. Geraldine Grogan 2nd O/50 (21.44), Rhoda Griffith 1st O/55 (22.10), Irene Henebry 2nd O/55 (23.04) and Nichola Read 3rd O/60(26.00).
