Gowran athletic club hosted this year’s Even Ages and Novice Leinster cross country. Of the twelve championship races KCH had athletes competing in eleven – the odd one out being the boys U16. Championship medals were won in nine of the races with a total of 68 Leinster Championship medals coming to the club. Nine of the club medals were gold – won by an exceptional performance by the boys U12, who also had a second team in 10th place, and the usual quality run by Daniel Greene in the boys U14 leading his team to gold. So KCH will be well represented at the nationals in Derry. Well done all.
