Conditions were ideal for today’s Dublin City Marathon and with over thirty men and women wearing the KCH label it was a big occasion. Stalwart Paul Murphy led the Harriers men home in 2.58.33 a short distance ahead of John O’Donnell in 2.58.38. Jane Campbell finishing in 3.37.55 led the ladies home. Louise O’Reilly, Oonagh Guilfoyle, Joysa Burns and Kate Giblin all finished under the 4hours. Meanwhile across in Frankfurt huge times were being achieved. Toss Hayes, making his debut at the distance clocked 2.25. Ken Maher and Graham Bourne finished in 2.41 and 2.49 respectively. Jacinta Mulroe was first lady home in 3.02. Claire Dermody, Lisa Brennan and Anita Byrne came home in 3.17, 3.19 and 3.22 r3spectively.  Dublin Marathon results are available on Congratulations to all our marathon runners and a special thanks to Pat Purcell for his coaching and encouragement to so many of our distance runners.
