Kilkennyy athletics has moved into cross-country mode. Today the focus was on the cross-country relays. While KCH numbers were down todays participants were excellent. There were wins for girls under 11, girls under 13 and boys under 15. The boys under 11 and girls under 13 also scored with third place finishes. Accumulating 5.5 points the club finished in second place behind Gowran who had 6.5 ponts. An encouraging result was the fourth place finishes by the under 10 boys and girls teams in the under 11 races. There were a number of individual stars in the u7, 8 and 9 races. Under 7 saw Julia Daly and Rachel Hogan winning gold and bronze respectively. Under 8s David Hogan won silver and Charlie Canavan won bronze. Under 9s Daire O’Flaherty  won silver and Amelia O’Brien won bronze.
